The corporate culture is the key success factor. The corporate culture was not a topic for a long time, but the change management is about the corporate culture mainly. The corporate culture is not written (usually), but it is about the decision processes, values (formal and informal) and the behavior of employees in the organization.
The corporate culture is about the climate in the organization and its willingness to change. When the organization has the culture focused on the friendliness, it is very hard to focus the organization on achieving the results and beating the competition on the market.
Many consulting companies are focused on the changes of the corporate culture. To be successful in changing the corporate culture, the change has to start inside the organization. No external advisor can help, when the top management does not want to change the corporate culture.
