The HR Business Partnering implementation needs its HR Story. The managers do not understand to the HR PowerPoint slides usually as their troubles are completely different from the world of skills and competencies. They want to hire, fire and pay their employees.
The HR Story has to be attractive and based on the daily business examples. The HR Business Partnering is about increasing the knowledge and utilization of the human capital employed in the organization, but the managers cannot understand this story.
The managers have to understand their changed role and it can be demonstrated on the real life examples from the life of the organization. The manager will be responsible for more HR Processes and the development of the staff and HR should clearly make the communication about this new role. In the supporting role, the HR Employee was responsible for almost everything and the manager was just making the orders. In the new story, the HR Business Partner will discuss the employees with the manager and the manager will have to make a final decision about the approach based on the HR recommendation.
